- CHASSIS RECOMMENDATIONS |
|
Minimum RBM (resisting bending moment)
for each frame rail is 2,250,000 in./lb. The
minimum frame length behind the center line of the rear axle
is 40 inches. The outside frame rails of chassis
extending behind cab must be free of fuel tanks, air tanks,
battery boxes, etc. All specifications are minimums,
heavier specifications may be required depending on chassis
and equipment weights. The 5130 requires a minimum
156" C.A. with a GVW of 33,000 lbs. The 5230 requires
a minimum C.B. of 156" C.T. with a GVW of 53,200 lbs.
